Fox News hosts Charlie Syke and Kimberly Guilfoyle discussed the recent shooting at the Washington Navy Yard and other high-profile incidents, and the hosts suggested that President Donald Trump is not “out to destroy the nation.”
Sykes said on Fox News’ “Hannity” that Trump should take a stronger stand against the shooting, but added that he does not think the president is “out for the destruction of the nation.
He’s out to get people in jail.””
The president should take that stand,” Sykes continued.
“And if he doesn’t, I’m not out to destroy that nation.
Guilfoy asked Sykes if Trump has the “will” to act, and Sykes replied that Trump has shown a “very clear and forceful desire to be the leader of this country.””
He has not put a plan out for how to deal with this.”

Sykes also criticized the president for not taking action against “terrorists.”
“He needs to stand up and say that he is not out for his own country, for the country of his birth,” Syke said.
“We are not out, the president.
We are out to kill those who would destroy our nation.”
Syke also suggested that the shooting at Navy Yard may have been the result of “lack of trust.”
“I think it is pretty clear that we’re not out here to destroy this nation,” he said.
