Jeopardi’s new hosts are a mix of card sharks and people who want to do a good job.
Host Jim Lehrer is a card sharks, and he’s going to try to make a case for himself by saying that Jeopardys will be a lot more interesting to watch than its competitors when he’s hosting.
“Jeopardy is going to be a real game show,” Lehrer said.
Lehrer was asked about a number of topics in the panel, including whether he thinks Jeopardies will ever make money, whether he’d like to be in charge of a new host team, and whether he’s a fan of the show’s tagline: “It’s all about the money.”
Lehrer first talked about his career, specifically his experience hosting the CBS hit “The Biggest Loser,” in which he won the first season of the series.
He also mentioned that he and his fellow host Jeff Probst are planning to make the new Jeopardiac season a bit more “fun” with new cards and new game show rules.
“We’ll have the new cards, and it’ll be fun to see what happens with them,” Lehrier said.
“I’ll definitely take a lot of pleasure out of playing them.
It’s going a lot faster.
We’ll have a lot less downtime.
I’m definitely going to make this show a lot, a lot better.”
Lehrier also mentioned a time when he had to work at a bank, and that he had no idea how much money he’d make as a card owner.
“It was very exciting,” he said.
While Lehrer’s show has yet to launch, the new hosts have already earned their stripes, as they are being recognized as one of the best cardsharks in Jeopardia history.
They’re going to continue their efforts by playing the new season, but they’ll be looking to expand their network.
“The network is really big,” Lehre said.
He added that the network wants to expand its lineup with new hosts.
“One of the big goals for us right now is to have a whole bunch of new hosts on the network,” he explained.
“And that’s a big focus for us.”
